BARSC aims to encourage racers of all ages into international skiing at a high level of competence and professionalism.

BARSC hopes to provide constant help and support to affiliated clubs and their members who compete annually on snow.

Our overreaching goal is to promote British ski racing across the world.

Child Welfare Statement

BARSC is committed to providing a safe environment for athletes. We have adopted the Snowsports governing bodies’ Child Protection Policy, which gives guidelines for good practice and care of children (i.e. under 18’s) within snow sports, and for general care of children and vulnerable adults.

All staff members and volunteers at events run by BARSC have been fully vetted according to the latest guidelines, and are aware of their responsibilities with regard to supervision and general care of the young athletes.

We firmly believe that every child has the right to participate in sport without fear of harm, discrimination or any degrading treatment, and will ensure that all our young athletes are able to do so in a fun and safe environment.

Their welfare is paramount.
